It does not provide other functionalities, such as photo management. Note: Adobe DNG Converter is just a NEF to DNG converter. After that, you can manage the photos or further edit the RAW files within Photoshop or Lightroom afterward. so in the DNG converter software there is an option to change the compatibility to a previous version. So I have to go to a Win10 PC, run DNG Converter 14.1. But whenever tried to covert the files, I received an error that reads "The source folder does not contain any supported raw files." The new Nikon Z9 uses newly-developed RAW (NEF) file formats that Camera Raw 9.1.1 doesnt recognise. Upon further googling and reading, I read about Adobe DNG Converter v8.8 and downloaded it from Adobe's website. So then I tried using the "Copy as DNG" tool in Lightroom while importing, and received the same error as before. I wanted to edit NEF files, from my Nikon D5600, using L ightroom Classic CC, so when I tried importing the NEF files, I would get an error that read "Some import operations were not performed." When I googled the problem I read about converting the NEF Files into DNG files. Converter not found - find the install location above, or download and install it. If no converter is found at that location this message will show. Location - The default installation location is automatically populated. YES I am only selecting a folder and not trying to open it.
